ALL THIS IS HAPPENING ON ISRAEL'S NORTHEASTERN BORDER AND ISRAEL IS CARRYING OUT STRIKES IN SYRIA, TAKING OUT CHEMICAL WEAPONS AND OTHER WEAPONS OF WAR, SO THE REBELS CANNOT USE THEM. ALSO IMPORTANT IS THAT ISRAEL HAS SEIZED THE SYRIAN SIDE OF MT. HERMON. HAVING THIS HIGH GROUND IS IMPORTANT FOR MILITARY OPERATIONS. ALL OF THIS IS HAPPENING A BREATH-TAKING SPEED.
THE GREATEST BENEFACTOR OF THIS FALL IS ERDOGAN IN TURKEY. ERDOGAN WANTS TO BE THE CALIPH OF THE CALIPHATE - THE ISLAMIC WORLD UNITED UNDER ONE RULER, WHICH WOULD RETURN HIM TO THE GLORY DAYS OF THE OTTOMAN EMPIRE. WILL THIS HAPPEN?

THE UN GENERAL ASSEMBLY HAS MARKED JUNE, 2025 TO HOST A SUMMIT TO PROMOTE THE IMPLEMENTATION OF A TWO STATE SOLUTION AND THE PEACEFUL SETTLEMENT OF THE ISARALI-PALESTINIAN CONFLICT. THIS WEEK, 157 NATIONS IN THE UN VOTED IN FAVOR DIVIDING THE LAND OF ISRAEL TO CREATE A PALESTINIAN STATE.. THOUGH THIS GROUP HAS HARDLY ANY POWER, THE MERE NUMBER OF NATIONS WHO IN FAVOR OF THIS RESOLUTION, SPEAKS LOUDLY. 700,000 ISRAELI'S WOULD BE DISPLACED BY THIS MEASURE.
THE JNS REPORTS THAT THE 7 PAGE RESOLUTION ENDS BY SAYING THE NEW STATE SHOULD BE FORMED ALONG THE 1949 ARMISTICE LINES (SEE MAP ABOVE). THIS AREA IS A GREAT DEAL LARGER THAN GAZA, SO IMAGINE THE PROBLEMS THAT COULD RESULT FOR ISRAEL FROM THE FULFILLLMENT OF THIS RESOLUTION.
A PALESTINIAN STATE IN THE AREA DESCRIBED WOULD LITERALLY BE SUICIDAL FOR ISRAEL. IT WOULD CREATE MORE DEATH AND MORE TERRORISM IN ISRAEL AND FOR THE WORLD. PROPHETS SAW THIS DAY AND DECLARED:
*ZECHARIAH 12:3 On that day I will make Jerusalem a heavy stone for all the peoples. All who lift it will surely hurt themselves. And all the nations of the earth will gather against it.

*JOEL 3:1-2 For behold, in those days and at that time, When I bring back the captives of Judah and Jerusalem, I will gather all the nations And bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat. Then I will enter into judgment with them there on behalf of My people and My inheritance, Israel, Whom they have scattered among the nations; And they have divided up My land.

THE GOOD NEWS IS THAT AMERICA HAS INTRODUCED A BILL IN THE HOUSE AND SENATE TO PROHIBIT THE USE OF US GOV from using the term WEST BANK ON ALL GOVERNMENT DOCUMENTS AND INSTEAD USE THE TERM JUDEA AND SAMARIA. Yeshua said there would be wars and rumors of wars,
and it would seem that the headlines in our news today support this statement. In South Korea, President Yoon just hours ago, called off Martial Law, and now the streets are filled with protestors calling for his resignation. The legislature is against him. News agencies are calling this a 'fluid situation', and later this week a vote will be taken to impeach him.
Then in Syria, Russia and Iran are aligning with President Assad against a terrorist group called HTS -Hayat Tahrir al-Sham. This group is an offshoot of Al-Qaeda. Russian bombs are falling on cities in Syria where HTS have stationed themselves. Syria has been in this civil war for 13 years now, as groups like ISIS have fought against Assad and been eliminated. Today there are regions of Syria where rebel groups are in control, and this war is heating up.
These groups are launching offensives against Damascus and are testing Assad's grip on power. This week HTS took control of Aleppo.
When this occurred, Iran stepped in, and Iran is considering sending troops into Syria.
On Tuesday American forces came under attack at their base in Euphrates, Syria. And America stepped into this conflict. At the same time, Russia pledges its unconditional support of Assad. And with all of this, Russia accuses Ukraine of helping the rebel groups against Assad.
This war is rapidly escalating and dangerous.
Are we heading toward Isaiah 17:1 The burden against Damascus. Behold Damascus will cease from being a city, and it will be a ruinous heap. Are we heading toward worse?
The world is in chaos, and time is accelerating.
Are we ready for His return? Are we hastening His return?

This tense fist portrays a battle that rages in so many believer’s hearts. Is there conflict in your house? How about that never ending battle in your head or your heart that jealousy or bitterness create? Is there someone who just creates a storm in your peace? What do we do with these issues when as believers we know we are to forgive and love? Honestly, we need to face them head on and deal with the real heart issues.
The Word addresses these issues – and this is where the rubber meets the road. Will we yield our conflict to the Lord and allow His attitude and His forgiveness toward us to flow to others? In the prayer that Yeshua taught us, He said, And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. *Matthew 6:12
*Proverbs 10:12 points us to the truth that hatred will stir up conflict, yet love will cover all wrongs. Hatred and anger – even hidden anger will only result in conflict and division. Conflict needs to be dealt with because when it festers, the hatred and anger that result will lead to division. Our power is in allowing the Holy Spirit to cleanse our hearts and fill them with His love. We are to be known by our love. Does this sound impossible? Again, Yeshua had something to say - Jesus said, '… If you can believe, all things are possible to him that believes. *Mark 9:23 We can allow Him to change our hearts and replace the hatred for love, but we have to let His love in.
*I John 2:9-10 Anyone who claims to be in the light but hates a brother or sister is still in the darkness. Anyone who loves their brother and sister lives in the light, and there is nothing in them to make them stumble.
Rather than allowing our lives to be consumed with hatred and anger, which leads to division, choose forgiveness and love. And strive for unity. Even if the other person doesn’t return the same love, we choose to live our lives with a heart of love. It is the most difficult and most important thing we will ever do!
LOVE COVERS A MULTITUDE OF SINS
WAYS TO BE ENCOURAGED TODAY!
People feel so much pressure today. The world is changing. There are wars and rumors of war; there are plagues; there are violent storms and shortages. Economic pressures are creating stress in our homes and governments. Nobody needs to tell us that times are tough right now. BUT WE CAN TAKE COURAGE AND BE STRONG!
The Word of God is our light, and this light is real. Yeshua said, I am the light of the world, and He lives in us. In these challenging times the darkness is not to overtake us, but we are to bring His light into it. Light Always overcomes darkness. So we renew our minds. We lift our thoughts up by praying and proclaiming His love for us and His light in us.
Psalm 121 says: I lift up my eyes to the mountains— where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. We speak good to our own minds by speaking and meditating and praying the Word of the Lord. We remember how great and awesome our God is – He made heaven and earth – He will keep us.
From Psalm 121 we can pray:
Our Father, our King, who created everything, thank You that You live inside of me and help me to be an overcomer and a light in this world. I pray to be ever mindful that my rest and strength come from You. You watch over my life, you protect me. I thank You that through your faithfulness I will see victory! Amen.
You can pray right through the Psalms and be encouraged and strengthened daily!
